Peaceful location next to pub, easy commuting to city. Recently refurbished, clean and comfortable barn. Great suntrap, robes a nice touch. Dog-friendly with a lovely river walk nearby. Will return.

The Barn At Meadow Farm was a true haven for adventure seekers like myself. Nestled in the beautiful Derby countryside, it offered easy access to breathtaking hiking trails that left me feeling like I had conquered the world.

I had a lovely stay at The Barn at Meadow Farm. The hotel was clean as new and very comfortable. The modern look of the barn was really appealing and it had everything I needed for a cozy stay. The owners were also very respectful of my privacy, but made sure to let me know they were available if I needed anything. I particularly enjoyed the little suntrap area during the daytime and the robes provided were a nice touch. The location was perfect, with a beautiful walk along the river right near the barn and a dog-friendly pub just a short walk away. I would definitely recommend this place for couples or small families looking for a relaxing getaway.

The only minor drawbacks were the outdated instructions for the TV, difficult to find the right channels, and the tricky shower controls, made it hard to adjust the temperature. these were just minor inconveniences and did not significantly detract from my overall experience.

The property had everything we needed in the kitchen and the fridge freezer was a great size. The shower in the compact bathroom was amazing and super hot. The linens were clean and fresh, and the big robes were a nice touch. The heating was easy to adjust and the house stayed warm. The outside area had plenty of space for parking.

The bed was too small for us, we would have preferred a bigger size. The radiators took some time to figure out and it would have been helpful to have instructions.

Loved the free parking, felt like a VIP. The garden was a bonus, I enjoyed pretending to be one with nature. The floors were so shiny, I couldn't resist sliding around like a child. Perfect for mischief!
